This weekend I attended DrupalCamp Colorado — first time attendee, first time sponsor.
To start, I want to give a shout out to the camp organizers, they did a great job.
I love attending DrupalCon, Dublin will be my eighth, but I always feel I have more time to connect with people at camps. Maybe it is because these events are smaller, with fewer people, and therefore more laid back?
Saturday and Sunday was filled with great conversation with active community members. Aten hosted a great happy hour on Saturday night.
Sunday morning I sat in on Todd Nienkerk’s keynote, “Creating a Culture of Empowerment”. That was a time well spent. If you haven’t seen this presentation, here’s a video of it from Bureau of Digital’s Owner Summit.
Denver was a great place to visit and I enjoyed the pleasant weather, which was a nice break from hot and humid central Texas. I really enjoyed seeing the Rocky Mountains from the venue in the distance. Next time I’ll be sure to plan extra time to see the sights!
Coming to a Drupal Camp near you?
The amazee.io team is looking to sponsor and attend more Drupal Camps. If you’d like to have us at your camp, drop us a line or join our Slack channeland say hello!
Our next camp stop is BADcamp, coming up in October. Will we see you there?
Until next time.
