Glyn Davies

Glyn Davies brings a diverse and rich background to his role as a Platform Engineer at amazee.io. His career began as a trainee Avionics Engineer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, followed by four years as a foreman in a sheet metal manufacturing company in the UK. Returning to New Zealand for further education led Glyn to pursue an Electronics and Computer Technology diploma, where he discovered his passion for computers and software.

He spent the next decade as a technical software test analyst before transitioning into systems administration. Over time, his focus shifted towards simplifying and automating tasks, leading him to specialize in systems management automation through infrastructure as code and DevOps practices. Glyn excels at breaking down complex activities into logical, reusable modules for automation, significantly enhancing efficiency.
